Getting There

Oakland is 3 hours West of DC/Baltimore area and 2 hours South of Pittsburgh in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Western Maryland.

From the East, take I-70 to I-68 to Route 219 South.

From the North, take I-79 South to I-68 East to Route 219 South.

Oakland is 25 miles South of I-68, 10 miles South of Deep Creek Lake.

Take Rt 219 south from I-68, 25 miles to Oakland. Turn right on Center Street (opposite "Sheetz"), go 1 block to 2nd St, Turn Left, go thru one light, immediately turn right after you cross the Railroad tracks and park.
