Newly dubbed the Arkives Outernational, in a few short months the band has turned Tuesday nights at Patty Boom Boom into one of Washington DC’s hottest happenings. The idea to record just a few singles has now turned into the production of a full length album to be released this summer on Thievery Corporation’s new ESL Dub Plate label. Arkives Outernational is digging up the earliest roots of reggae, breathing new life into them, providing a fresh sound that both pays tribute to the reggae’s rich past and shines new vision into the future.
